WFSC proudly presents the Belgian Freestyle Open 2025!
Only the oldest among us can remember a Freestyle Championship in Belgium — it’s been decades since the last official competition took place there. That’s why we’re especially excited to announce a very special event this coming November:
The Belgian Freestyle Skateboard Open 2025 in Antwerp!
On November 8th, 2025, the Belgian Freestyle Skateboarding Open will celebrate its premiere in the impressive indoor hall of the SBA Skateboard Academy (Damplein 35, 2060 Antwerp).
This marks the first Belgian freestyle contest of the modern era – a project built on passion, collaboration, and a shared love for the art of skateboarding, aiming to give new momentum to Belgium’s small but steadily growing freestyle scene.
The WFSC e. V. is proud to support this event with guidance and expertise. Organizer Jelle Callens has been a dedicated friend and supporter of our own events for many years, and we’re thrilled to see him take on this challenge together with Belgian skaters and friends from near and far.
It’s exactly this spirit of teamwork and enthusiasm that keeps freestyle skateboarding alive – and we wish the entire team the best of luck and lots of fun!
The contest will be judged by official WFSC jurors, and results will count towards the world ranking.
The SBA Skateboard Academy has made it its mission to teach and promote skateboarding in all its forms.
Modern freestyle thrives on openness, crossover skills, and creativity that often emerges from other skate disciplines. This spirit will be reflected in the official Freestyle School, taking place in the morning as part of the event program.
This makes the Belgian Freestyle Open not just a competition, but also a meeting place for new talents and future freestylers. The BFSO team warmly invites all beginners and anyone curious to discover the art of freestyle skateboarding!
For visitors, there’s plenty to enjoy beyond the skate action: a bar, restaurant, gym, and climbing area are all located within the venue.
And it’s not just the event that’s worth the trip – Antwerp itself is one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, perfect for soaking up some endorphins, culture, and community spirit before winter sets in. We highly recommend turning it into a long weekend!
