Freestyle Skateboarding has always been the top priority when planning the next event, but the Championships wouldn’t be the same without the accompanying program.

This time it goes back to the roots again: the “Global Jam” presents subcultures to experience and participate in.

From graffiti jams and hip-hop artists with live music to sports such as streetball and bouldering there will be something waiting for your needs. For those who prefer a more relaxed approach, there will be workshops using recycled skateboards as materials or an urban putt mini-golf course.

As you can see, the accompanying program is packed with all kinds of things to discover and marvel at for every generation.

Visitors who want to skate alongside the event can of course do so in a separate area with ramps, a mini and a pump track.

There is even a cinema where previously submitted short films will be presented and evaluated…

Anyone looking for a bit of variety between the runs of the various skate classes will be well served on the site. The location of the regatta course, together with the range of activities on offer, will help to create a slight festival feeling this time.

And wait and see, we still have one or two surprises in store for the event schedule…
