World Freestyle & Global Jam 2026 – the next level!

The open European Freestyle Skateboarding Championship in Brandenburg an der Havel was founded with one clear mission: to give freestyle a stage that reflects the passion, creativity and extraordinary skill with which our community has shaped and evolved this unique sport.

Supported by sponsors, municipalities, longtime companions, and countless helping hands, the event grew with every year. What once began as a small European championship ultimately became a world championship that earned global recognition and set new standards.

Yet even though our passion feels limitless, and the 2025 World Championships were a loud and unmistakable statement for the value of modern roller sports and their DIY culture, the capacities in Brandenburg an der Havel have reached their limit. Saying goodbye is not easy, the city gave us so much, but we at World Freestyle e.V. are more determined than ever to take our original mission to the next level.

After a long and challenging search for a new home, we can finally share the news:

We’re not only presenting a new venue that is weather-independent and offers extensive infrastructure for sports, culture, art and exhibitors and provides access to a broader audience. We’re simultaneously opening a new home for alternative sports and cultural communities, already rooted in its city.

The Kassel Trade Fair Halls will host the World Freestyle Skateboarding Championships & Global Jam from August 14–16, 2026!

You can look forward to over 10,000 m² of space, spread across three halls and an outdoor area. A playground and platform of expression for everyone eager to prove that alternative culture not only lives, but sets the rhythm of tomorrow.

We have big plans – and we’re beyond excited to share them with you!

Let’s continue writing our story together!
